E-Learning courses may have a video component.

GCCC course videos for some classes are available online through a streaming media server. Streaming media means that the video starts to play while it downloads. You do not have to wait for it to download completely before watching. These videos play well using Windows Media Player. If you are accessing them using a MAC you will need to download a player. Microsoft has one available which converts the file for viewing in QuickTime: Flip4Mac Home Page.

These videos will play well using a high speed Internet connection. The courses videos listed on this page are also available for check out from the circulation desk in the library. The course videos are on DVD's and will play using a DVD player.

Some courses have reserve DVD's that check out for a week. Your instructor will have information about videos that may be available for you to check out.

We are working to add more classes to our list of online videos. If you have any questions about the videos listed here, or the availability of online course videos, please contact the library. We would also appreciate any feedback of problems you may experience so that we can correct them.
