GCCC's eBook collection is located in two places. There are NetLibrary books in the book catalog that require logging in to read. The other area for finding eBooks is Greenwood Press. You will not need to log in to view if you are on campus. If you are not on campus use remote log in. The other links below will take you to sites that have large collections of classical literature.

From on campus users can click on NetLibrary and have access without logging in. From off campus, first remote log in, then while your browser stays open you do not need to log in again.

Greenwood Press The Greenwood Digital Collection is a collection of reference, academic and general interest e-books. Titles come from titles from Praeger, Greenwood Press, and Libraries Unlimited. This is a collection of complete texts — all searchable by keyword, subject, author, or title.

Making of America

Making of America (MoA) is a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology. The collection currently contains approximately 9,000 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints. (Downloadable)
