How to View your Account, Request & Renew your books Click here to connect with a librarian

You may request that we hold a book for you, or renew items you have checked out. When asked for a borrower ID and PIN, your borrower ID is your Student ID number and your PIN is your birthday in the format mmdd. For example, your student id could be gc0456453 and your PIN 1126..

  • Requesting a book: Click on the request link in the catalog to place a request for an item (see diagram below). You may request that an item that is checked out be held for you when it is returned, or you may request that an item that is at another community college in Florida be sent here. If you find something that is available at another college, you may also use this link to request an Interlibrary Loan. You must be a currently enrolled student or faculty/staff member before we are able to fill a request. Request your books one of two ways: Online through the Interlibrary Loan Form, or through the library catalog.

  • Renewing materials you have checked out. Use the MyAccount to access your items and the due date. There is a tab to renew your items. Please note: you may renew materials only if: they are not overdue; they are not reserve items; and you have not previously renewed them. If you have a question, call the library at 872-3893.

Requesting materials:

Click on the request link in the catalog after finding a book you need.
