Library > MLA & APA Citation help

Citation: The minimum amount of information needed by the reader of your paper to identify or to locate an item quickly and efficiently. A citation should include the author, title, page(s), and other data. There are two forms of citation methods used at Gulf Coast. The Modern Language Association (MLA) is generally used for language and literature papers. Another is the American Psychological Association (APA) generally for the Social Sciences. You can get help through the library site creating your citations:

MLA    APA
